When Grief Gets Heavy
Right now, grief is hard. Grief is heavy.
I am doing the very best I can, and in this moment, I recognize that I need to take a step back.
I don’t know exactly what that looks like yet. Maybe I’ll be back next week. Maybe I’ll pop in with a short check-in just to let you know I’m still here. But I need you to understand my reality: I should have a six-month-old right now. Instead, I have empty arms, and all I want is Kensleigh.
That’s where I am. And I’m not going to pretend otherwise.
So this week, please take care of yourself. Be gentle with the people around you. And I hope to be back with you soon.
With love,
Kelli
